The McLaurin Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Crystal Springs Tigers to 2 in the Tigers non-league victory on Monday.
The Tigers now have a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Magee for a Class 3 Region 6 game on Tuesday, September 12. McLaurin will meet a Trojans team coming off a 3-1 league loss to McLaurin (Florence, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 2-5.
The Tigers (3-7) will now prepare for their game against Wesson (Wesson, MS). The Cobras enter the non-league game with a 8-5 record. In their last game, Wesson was nudged by Lawrence County (Monticello, MS), 3-0, in a non-league game.
