The East Marion Eagles topped the host Hattiesburg Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league test.
The Eagles now have a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Resurrection Catholic for a Class 1 Region 8 test on Tuesday, September 12. East Marion will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lumberton (Lumberton, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 7-5.
The Tigers (3-13) will now prepare for their test against Terry (Terry, MS). The Bulldogs enter the Class 6 Region 3 test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Terry gained a win over Jim Hill (Jackson, MS), 3-0, in a league test.
