The crowd at Monday's league bout between the North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC) and the host Foard Tigers (Newton, NC), saw North Iredell's volleyball squad nip Foard by a tally of 3-2.

The Indians go into the bout with a record of 7-3. St. Stephens won 3-0 in their recent league bout against West Iredell (Statesville, NC)

The Tigers now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to West Iredell for a Western Foothills 3A bout on Wednesday, September 13. Foard will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 7-5.
