The Spartans come into the match with a 0-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Deer River (Deer River, MN).

With the loss, Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Ogichida travel to Lakeview Christian Academy (Duluth, MN) to battle the Lions in a Freelance match on Thursday, September 14. The Lions come into the match with a record of 4-5. Lakeview Christian Academy won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Littlefork-Big Falls (Littlefork, MN)
