In Monday's league contest, the Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC), by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Gray's Creek upgrades its record to 9-0 on the year. The Bears travel to South View (Hope Mills, NC) to play the Tigers in a United Eight 3A/4A bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-4. South View lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC)
