The Gretna Hawks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Magna Vista Warriors to 0 in the Hawks non-league victory on Monday.
The Hawks now have a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Appomattox County for a Dogwood game on Tuesday, September 12. Gretna will meet a Raiders team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Brookville (Lynchburg, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 5-2.
The Warriors (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA). The Trojans enter the Piedmont game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, Tunstall gained a win over Dan River (Ringgold, VA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
