Virginia High School Volleyball - Northern Durham nudged by Halifax County

September 11, 2023: South Boston, VA 24592

The Halifax County Comets volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Northern Durham Knights to 2 in the Comets non-league victory on Monday.

The Comets now have a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host George Washington for a Piedmont game on Tuesday, September 12. Halifax County will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Martinsville (Martinsville, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.

The Knights (4-1) will now prepare for their game against East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Wildcats enter the DAC-VII 4A game with a 4-8 record. In their last game, East Chapel Hill was nudged by Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC), 3-2, in a non-league game.
