In Monday's non-league battle, the host Harlan County Black Bears volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Pineville Mountain Lions.

The Black Bears (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Knox Central (Barbourville, KY). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Knox Central was beaten by Pineville (Pineville, KY), 3-1, in a league contest.

With the loss, Pineville drops to 8-5 on the campaign. The Mountain lions travel to Knox Central (Barbourville, KY) to battle the Panthers in a District 51 contest on Tuesday, September 12. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 1-5. Knox Central won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Harlan (Harlan, KY)
