In Monday's league battle, the host North Laurel Jaguars volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Jackson County Generals.

The Jaguars (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Southwestern (Somerset, KY). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 8-9 record. In their last battle, Southwestern lost by Anderson County (Clinton, TN), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Generals clash with the Breathitt County Bobcats (Jackson, KY) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 12. Jackson County will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Bobcats enter the test with a 7-5 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Perry County Central (Hazard, KY).
