The South Greene Rebels volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Jefferson County Patriots to 1 in the Rebels non-league victory on Monday.

The Rebels now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Happy Valley for a A District 1 game on Thursday, September 14. South Greene will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to West Greene (Mosheim, TN). The Warriors record now stands at 1-7.

The Patriots (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Cocke County (Newport, TN). The Fighting Cocks enter the AAA District 2 game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, Cocke County defeated Pigeon Forge (Pigeon Forge, TN), 3-0, in a non-league game.
