The Knott County Central Patriots volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting June Buchanan Crusaders to 0 in the Patriots league victory on Monday.

The Patriots now possess a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Breathitt County for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 13. Knott County Central will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Jackson County (McKee, KY). The Bobcats record now stands at 8-5.

The Crusaders (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Buckhorn (Buckhorn, KY). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 6-8 record. In their last game, Buckhorn was dropped by Hazard (Hazard, KY), 3-0, in a league game.
