The Kinston Bulldogs topped the visiting Zion Chapel Rebels volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs now have a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pleasant Home for a 1A Area 2 test on Tuesday, September 12. Kinston will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Opp (Opp, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 11-3.
The Rebels (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Highland Home (Highland Home, AL). The Flying Squadron enter the 2A Area 5 test with a 2-2 record.
