The Mankato West Scarlets held off the host St. Peter Saints volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Monday's non-league test.
The Scarlets now have a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Faribault for a Big 9 test on Thursday, September 14.
The Saints (2-1) will now prepare for their test against New Ulm (New Ulm, MN). The Eagles enter the Big South - East test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, New Ulm held off Fairmont (Fairmont, MN), 3-0, in a league test.
