Mississippi High School Volleyball - South Pike overwhelmed by Salem

In Monday's non-league battle, the host Salem Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the South Pike Eagles.
The Wildcats (11-6) will now prepare for their battle against Sacred Heart (Hattiesburg, MS). The Crusaders come into the Class 2 Region 8 battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Sacred Heart lost by East Marion (Columbia, MS), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Eagles clash with the Port Gibson Blue Waves (Port Gibson, MS) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 12. South Pike will attempt to advance on its 9-5 season record. The Blue Waves come into the battle with a 6-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to Wesson (Wesson, MS).
