North Carolina High School Volleyball - Western Harnett overwhelmed by Southern Lee

The Western Harnett Eagles volleyball team (Lillington, NC), went down 3-0 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC)
The Cavaliers (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Union Pines (Cameron, NC). The Vikings come into the Sandhills 3A/4A challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Union Pines defeated Hoke County (Raeford, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Eagles encounter the E.E. Smith Golden Bulls (Fayetteville, NC) in a All American 3A/4A challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Western Harnett will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Golden Bulls come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Overhills (Spring Lake, NC).
