In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mount Vernon Majors volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Lewis Lancers.
The Majors (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Edison (Alexandria, VA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Edison beat Falls Church (Falls Church, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lancers meet the Annandale Atoms (Annandale, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 16. Lewis will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
