The Mustangs now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Wood for a Monticello Empire League test on Monday, September 16. Rodriguez will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 16-14 league loss to Vanden (Fairfield, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-5.

With the defeat, Sacramento drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Freedom (Oakley, CA) to meet the Falcons in a non-league test on Monday, September 16. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 5-0. Freedom won 7-6 in their recent non-league test against San Marin (Novato, CA)
