The Douglas Tigers soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Hopedale Blue Raiders to 0 in the Tigers league victory on Wednesday.
The Tigers now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Whitinsville Christian for a Dual Valley bout on Monday, September 16. Douglas will play a Crusaders squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to Nipmuc Regional (Upton, MA). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Hopedale moves to 0-2 on the year. The Blue raiders host Uxbridge (Uxbridge, MA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, September 13. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Uxbridge lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Oxford (Oxford, MA)
