The New Paltz Huguenots soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Spackenkill Spartans to 1 in the Huguenots league victory on Wednesday.

The Huguenots now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Marlboro Central for a Mid Hudson Athletic League (MHAL) bout on Thursday, September 12. New Paltz will play a Dukes squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Red Hook (Red Hook, NY). The Dukes record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Spackenkill moves to 2-1 on the year. The Spartans travel to Marlboro Central (Marlboro, NY) to play the Dukes in a Mid Hudson Athletic League (MHAL) bout on Tuesday, September 17.
