Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Gloucester Fishermen (Gloucester, MA), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Saugus moves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Sachems travel to Salem (Salem, MA) to clash with the Witches in a non-league test on Monday, September 16. The Witches come into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Fishermen now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Rockport for a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. Gloucester will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Triton Regional (Byfield, MA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-1.
