The Trojans (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Starmount got by South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Buckin' Elks meet the Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 12. Elkin will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record. The Granite Bears enter the contest with a 2-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to North Surry (Mount Airy, NC).
