The Chatham Central Bears edged the host Eastern Randolph Wildcats volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Bears confront the Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 16. Chatham Central will attempt to advance on its 9-3 season record. The Warriors go into the game with a 4-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC).
The Wildcats (1-9) will now prepare for their game against Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league game with a 5-6 record. In their last game, Providence Grove nudged Randleman (Randleman, NC), 2-1, in a non-league game.
