The Bulldogs now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Union Academy for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A bout on Monday, September 16. Albemarle will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 9-0 league win over North Stanly (New London, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, South Stanly moves to 1-4 on the year. The Rowdy rebel bulls host Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to clash with the Tigers in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A test on Monday, September 16. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-9. Mount Pleasant lost 9-0 in their recent league test against Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC)
