Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) and the host Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), saw Lincoln Charter's soccer squad knock off Corvian Community by a score of 4-1.

The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Spartans enter the Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Community School of Davidson tipped Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC), 6-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Cardinals confront the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 16. Corvian Community will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Patriots enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC).
