The Buford Wolves (Buford, GA) softball routed the visiting Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA), 9-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Wolves now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Collins Hill for a 6A Region 8 outing on Thursday, September 12. Buford will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 10-2 league win over Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-11.
With the loss, Walnut Grove moves to 6-11 on the season. The Warriors host North Oconee (Bogart, GA) to encounter the Titans in a 4A Region 8 outing on Tuesday, September 17. The Titans come into the outing with a record of 10-6. North Oconee lost 7-4 in their recent league outing against Madison County (Danielsville, GA)
