The Wildcats (10-6) will now prepare for their bout against Jackson (Jackson, GA). The Red Devils go into the non-league bout with a 1-16 record. In their last bout, Jackson was routed by Loganville (Loganville, GA), 6-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Jonesboro Cardinals (Jonesboro, GA) in a 4A Region 3 bout, on Thursday, September 12. Starr's Mill will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 15-0 league loss to Northside (Columbus, GA).
