The Rams (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cornerstone Christian (Antioch, CA). The Cougars come into the Bay Counties - General challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Cornerstone Christian beat Contra Costa Christian (Walnut Creek, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Owls meet the Head-Royce Jayhawks (Oakland, CA) in a Bay Counties - East challenge, on Friday, September 13. Athenian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Jayhawks come into the challenge with a 8-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Valley Christian (Dublin, CA).
