South Carolina High School Volleyball - Williston-Elko over Calhoun County

September 11, 2024: St. Matthews, SC 29135

Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Williston-Elko Blue Devils (Williston, SC) and the host Calhoun County Saints (St. Matthews, SC), observed Williston-Elko's volleyball team top Calhoun County by a count of 3-0.

The Blue Devils (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Horse Creek Academy (Aiken, SC). The Stallions enter the A Region 4 contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Horse Creek Academy notched a victory over North (North, SC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Saints battle the Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans (Monetta, SC) in a A Region 4 contest, on Tuesday, September 17. Calhoun County will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 1-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Wagener-Salley (Wagener, SC).
