In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Lord Botetourt Cavaliers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Cave Spring Knights.

The Cavaliers (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Abingdon (Abingdon, VA). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Abingdon beat Central Wise (Norton, VA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Knights play the Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) in a River Ridge challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Cave Spring will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Northside (Roanoke, VA).
