The Panthers (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Storm enter the Mid-State 3A contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Southern Guilford was knocked off by Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Red Raiders battle the McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC) in a Mid-State 2A contest, on Thursday, September 12. T.W. Andrews will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The Phoenix enter the contest with a 11-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC).
