North Carolina High School Volleyball - Greene Central edged by West Craven

September 11, 2024: Snow Hill, NC 28580

West Craven Eagles (Vanceboro, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Greene Central Rams (Snow Hill, NC), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, West Craven improves its record to 5-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to North Pitt (Bethel, NC) to encounter the Panthers in a Eastern Plains 2A test on Thursday, September 12. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 4-5. North Pitt lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Washington (Washington, NC)

The Rams now own a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Farmville Central for a Eastern Plains 2A test on Thursday, September 12. Greene Central will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to South Central (Winterville, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-4.
