The Pinole Valley Spartans edged the visiting Hercules Titans volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Wednesday's league game.

Next up, the Spartans face the Vallejo Redhawks (Vallejo, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 13. Pinole Valley will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Redhawks go into the game with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Swett (Crockett, CA).

The Titans (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Albany (Albany, CA). The Cougars go into the Tri-County game with a 7-5 record. In their last game, Albany nudged Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
