The Mason County Royals topped the visiting Lewis County Lions volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Royals confront the Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 12. Mason County will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Indians go into the game with a 12-7 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY).

The Lions (1-11) will now prepare for their game against East Carter (Grayson, KY). The Raiders go into the non-league game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, East Carter went down by Blazer (Ashland, KY), 3-0, in a non-league game.
