In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Lone Pine Golden Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Trona Tornadoes.

The Golden Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Highland (Palmdale, CA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Highland beat Lancaster (Lancaster, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tornadoes play the Tonopah Muckers (Tonopah, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 13. Trona will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Muckers come into the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Smith Valley (Smith, NV).
