In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting State College Little Lions volleyball squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Mechanicsburg Wildcats.

With the win, State College improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Little Lions host Williamsport (Williamsport, PA) to encounter the Millionaires in a non-league battle on Monday, September 16. The Millionaires go into the battle with a record of 4-3.

The Wildcats now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cumberland Valley for a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth battle on Tuesday, September 17. Mechanicsburg will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Exeter Township (Reading, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-3.
