The Monacan Chiefs (Richmond, VA) volleyball knocked off the host L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Chiefs now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Thomas Dale for a non-league bout on Monday, September 15. Monacan will clash with a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA). The Knights record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, L.C. Bird drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Skyhawks travel to J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA) to battle the Tigers in a non-league match on Monday, September 29. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 2-1.
