The Hampton Crabbers volleyball squad (Hampton, VA), was defeated 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the host Phoebus Phantoms (Hampton, VA)

The Phantoms (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Lakeland was beaten by Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Crabbers meet the Warwick Raiders (Newport News, VA) in a Peninsula contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Hampton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 5-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Denbigh (Newport News, VA).
