In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Caldwell County Tigers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Hopkins County Central Storm.

The Tigers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY). The Maroons come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record.

Next, the Storm play the Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Hopkins County Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Livingston Central (Smithland, KY).
