In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting C.H. Friend Red Jackets volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs.

The Red Jackets (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Christian Heritage Academy (Rocky Mount, VA). The Knights go into the non-league game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Christian Heritage Academy was edged by Timberlake Christian (Forest, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.

The Bulldogs (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Temple Christian (Madison Heights, VA). The Crusaders go into the game with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Temple Christian was nudged by Faith Christian Academy (Hurt, VA), 2-1, in a league outing.
