In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Kenston Bombers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Riverside Beavers.
The Bombers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against South (Willoughby, OH). The Rebels come into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record.
Next, the Beavers face the North Rangers (Eastlake, OH) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 16. Riverside will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Rangers go into the test with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Midview (Grafton, OH).
