The Laguna Creek Cardinals flag football team (Elk Grove, CA), was tipped 24-18 in Thursday's league bout with the visiting Sheldon Huskies (Sacramento, CA)

With the win, Sheldon advances its record to 10-0 on the season. The Huskies host Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA) to encounter the Wolfpack in a Delta League bout on Tuesday, September 16. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Cosumnes Oaks won 39-7 in their recent non-league bout against Franklin (Stockton, CA)

The Cardinals now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Elk Grove for a Delta League bout on Tuesday, September 16. Laguna Creek will confront a Thundering Herd squad coming off a 40-20 league loss to Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA). The Thundering Herd record now stands at 6-2.
