Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Lower Moreland Lions (Huntingdon Valley, PA) and the host Upper Moreland Bears (Willow Grove, PA), saw Lower Moreland's soccer squad knock off Upper Moreland by a count of 2-0.

The Lions (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Wissahickon (Ambler, PA). The Trojans enter the non-league battle with a 2-2 record.

The Bears now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hatboro-Horsham for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 16. Upper Moreland will meet a Hatters team coming off a 0-0 non-league Springfield Township (Erdenheim, PA). The Hatters record now stands at 2-3.
