In Thursday's league outing, the host Chambersburg Trojans soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Carlisle Thundering Herd.

The Trojans (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Greencastle-Antrim (Greencastle, PA). The Blue Devils go into the non-league outing with a 2-6 record. In their last outing, Greencastle-Antrim was edged by Gettysburg (Gettysburg, PA), 4-3, in a league outing.

Next up, the Thundering Herd clash with the Penn Manor Comets (Millersville, PA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. Carlisle will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Comets come into the test with a 4-1 record after their 4-2 league loss to Manheim Township (Lancaster, PA).
