The Yarmouth Clippers held off the host Greely Rangers soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Thursday's league game.
Next, the Clippers face the Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME) in a Class B - South game, on Tuesday, September 16. Yarmouth will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record.
The Rangers (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Wells (Wells, ME). The Warriors come into the Class B - South game with a 0-3 record.
