Utah High School Soccer - Mountain Ridge knocks off Salt Lake Academy

In Thursday's league bout, the visiting Mountain Ridge Sentinels soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Salt Lake Academy Griffins.
Next, the Sentinels face the Bingham Miners (South Jordan, UT) in a 6A Region 2 game, on Tuesday, September 16. Mountain Ridge will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Miners come into the game with a 3-8 record after their 4-2 league loss to Herriman (West Herriman, UT).
The Griffins (1-9) will now prepare for their game against Herriman (West Herriman, UT). The Mustangs come into the 6A Region 2 game with a 8-3 record. In their last game, Herriman edged Bingham (South Jordan, UT), 4-2, in a league game.
