The Oak Glen Golden Bears soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Tyler Knights to 1 in the Golden Bears league victory on Thursday.

The Golden Bears now hold a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to University for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. Oak Glen will play a Hawks squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Wheeling Central Catholic (Wheeling, WV). The Hawks record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Tyler moves to 0-9 on the year. The Knights host Williamstown (Williamstown, WV) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 17.
