Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) fans were in high spirits Thursday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the host St. Michael-Albertville Knights (Albertville, MN), 3-0 in a non-league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Rosemount for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. Wayzata will play a Irish squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN). The Irish record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, St. Michael-Albertville moves to 6-2 on the year. The Knights travel to Moorhead (Moorhead, MN) to clash with the Spuds in a Class AA Section 8 game on Saturday, September 13.
