In Thursday's non-league match, the host Calvary Christian Knights football squad scored a close 19-13 triumph over the Brookstone Cougars.
The Knights (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Georgia Force Christian (Sugar Hill, GA). The Blue Knights come into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Georgia Force Christian was tipped by Hayesville (Hayesville, NC), 57-22, in a non-league battle.
The Cougars now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Taylor County for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 18.
