In Thursday's non-league match, the host Currituck County Knights football squad scored a close 20-14 triumph over the Northeastern Eagles.
The Knights (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA). The Ambassadors come into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
Coming up next, the Eagles confront the Vance County Vipers (Henderson, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 18. Northeastern will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record.
