Needham Rockets (Needham, MA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA), 8-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Needham moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Lincoln-Sudbury (Sudbury, MA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league outing on Sunday, September 14. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 1-4. Lincoln-Sudbury lost 6-0 in their recent non-league outing against Acton-Boxborough (Acton, MA)
